Course Description
"The Global War On Terrorism"
(or "GWOT") is the official
name given by the United States government to an ambitious war it is currently
waging. This course explores the nature of this conflict, its history and
its future. Areas of emphasis include defining what constitutes
"terrorism," "the enemy," and "victory."
Upon completion of the course, the student will have a much broader
understanding of The Global War On Terrorism and will be able to propose
solutions to this conflict that are being overlooked by both politicians and the
major media outlets.
NOTE: The Seminar on the "Global War On Terrorism" is a customizable/
scalable presentation taught using the Socratic method in
combination with an extensive array of specially-prepared materials. Present
configurations include:

an abbreviated four-hour presentation
-
a day-long (8-hour) presentation
-
a two-day (16 hour) presentation
-
a full semester-long presentation
Options (1), (2), and (3)
can be presented in any location in the United States with
transportation and lodging costs borne by the sponsoring entity. Typical
audiences include governmental, business, religious and academic institutions.
Both options (3) and (4) are
presented in a college class format suitable for upper level
baccalaureate and graduate students who are seeking a broader
understanding of government, politics, religion, military defense, and/or
strategic management. Option (4) is limited to a driving radius of
the Kansas City metropolitan area.
